Prints, slides and negatives. One machine.

The shoebox never holds just one thing. Prints, a strip of negatives, a box of slides, your father’s business card. This does all of them — a second or two each, straight onto its own screen, no computer needed.

  • Film and prints, one device
  • Your originals never leave the house
  • No computer needed to scan

What you actually get

Not a gadget. One box, one machine.

One device for the whole box

Negatives, mounted slides, 4×6 and 5×7 prints, even business cards. Most families have all of it mixed together — and until now that meant buying two machines, or giving up on half the box.

Because it comes with a tray for every format

No computer needed

It scans on its own and shows each result on the built-in screen. You only need a computer at the end, to copy the files across — and it appears as an ordinary drive, no software to install.

Because the screen and memory are in the scanner itself

Your originals stay at home

The only copy of your parents’ wedding stays on your own table. No courier, no scanning service, no three-week wait wondering where it is.

Because it comes to the photos, not the other way round

A second or two each

No warm-up, no calibration, no scan head crawling across the glass. Press the button and it is captured. The limit is how fast you can swap the tray.

Because it photographs each item rather than scanning across it
As simple as that

Three steps. Really.

Loading a tray
1

Load the tray

Place a negative strip, a slide or a print in its matching tray and slide it into the scanner.

Placing a print on the plate
2

Check the screen

The image appears on the 2.4-inch screen. Adjust brightness or colour if it needs it, or just carry on.

The scan appears on screen
3

Press scan

It is saved as a JPEG in a second or two. Swap the tray and go again. Copy everything to your computer when you are done.

What happens when

From the doorstep to the last shoebox

  1. The day it arrivesUnbox, plug it in, put an SD card in the slot. Nothing to install. About ten minutes and it is ready.
  2. That eveningThe first photograph comes up on the little screen. Most people stop here for an hour, just looking — and that is the best part.
  3. The first weekendPrints on Saturday, the negatives on Sunday. A second or two per item once you find your rhythm — the tray is the slow part, not the scanner.
  4. The week afterThe folder goes onto a memory stick for your brother, into the family group chat, into a cloud backup. The boxes go back in the loft and it stops mattering that they are yellowing.

Why you can take our word for it

We would rather tell you the limits

The 16 MP is enlargement

The sensor is 8.1 megapixels. Files can be saved at 16 megapixels, but the extra pixels are added by software, not captured. We would rather say so than let you find out. For viewing, sharing and normal-size reprints, 8.1 MP is plenty.

One item at a time

Each negative, slide or print goes in its tray by hand. There is no feeder. The scan itself takes a second or two, so the rhythm is still quick — but it is not load-and-walk-away.

30-day money-back guarantee

Full refund, no questions asked. One-year manufacturer warranty on materials and workmanship.

Your questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a computer? +
Not to scan. It works on its own, with its own screen and memory. You only need a PC or Mac at the end, to copy the files across by USB — the scanner appears as an ordinary removable drive, with no software to install.
What can it scan? +
35 mm negatives and mounted slides, prints at 3½×5, 4×6 and 5×7 inches, and business cards. It does not take photos larger than 5×7, or 110, 126, medium format or cine film.
Do I need an SD card? +
Realistically, yes. The internal memory is 128 MB — about 25 to 30 photos. Any real collection needs an SD card. It is not in the Essential pack; the Complete and Two-pack options include a 32 GB card, which holds several thousand scans.
How long does a box take? +
A second or two per scan, plus the time to swap the tray. Most people clear a few hundred items in an afternoon.
Is it really 16 megapixels? +
The sensor captures 8.1 megapixels. It can save files at 16 megapixels by enlarging them in software, which makes them bigger but does not add real detail. For screens, sharing and normal-size prints, 8.1 is more than enough.
Will it damage my photos? +
No. Each item sits in a tray and is photographed. Nothing pulls it through or grips it, and nothing touches the emulsion on film.
What quality do I actually get? +
Good, honest results for viewing, sharing and reprinting at normal sizes. It is not an archival scan. And the result depends on the original — a faded print or a scratched negative will look faded or scratched. You can adjust brightness and colour on the screen before saving.
How do I get the photos onto my computer? +
Plug it into any USB port on a PC or Mac and switch it to USB transfer mode. It appears as a removable drive — drag the JPEG files across. No drivers, no software.
What is the return policy? +
30 days for a full refund. If it is not for you, for any reason, send it back and you are refunded. No questions.
How long is delivery? +
7 to 14 working days, free and tracked. Orders are processed Monday to Friday.
What does the warranty cover? +
One-year manufacturer warranty on materials and workmanship.

The boxes are still there. One machine will do.

Prints yellow and film fades a little every year. Your digital copies never will.
